Beer Weight
This is a really simple game !!
You need a bottle of beer and a shot of liquor for each participant, and a digital kitchen scale.
Now everyone has to drink some of their beer so that the remaining beer and the bottle totals up to a weight of 1/2 kilogram. Whoever
got nearest wins the game and doesn't have to drink any shots. Everyone else takes a shot. Everyone then finishes their beer, and the
game starts over!!
Beeramid
The dealer lays out 15 cards in a pyramid form and deals 5 cards to each player face down. Each card in the pyramid is one drink.
The players look at their own cards but don't let anyone else see them. The dealer flips the top card in the pyramid. If you have the card
you can tell someone to drink. You can also bluff that you have the card. The players can drink or call the bluff. If you call the bluff and
the person doesn't have the same card, they drink double. If the player has the card you drink triple.
If a player has two or more of the card flipped then they can make someone drink twice or more, depending on how many matches they
have. You can also split up the drinks given to players if you have multiple matches.
Beirut
This game is similar to BeerPong. Depending on number of players and desired level of intoxication, pick a number of cups for the back
row (five is usually good for two on two). After the back row is set up, fill in the rest of the cups in a pyramid shape, with the point near
the center of the table. Fill the cups about 1/4 full with beer.
The teams then shoot the ping-pong balls at the cups, and if a team sinks one, the other team drinks that cup. If a team gets an airball
(flies off the end of the table without hitting the table or a cup), then the person who threw the ball has to drink one of their own.
Here is where a variation can come into play. One version of the game keeps all of the empty cups on the table until there is one cup left
(then they all get cleared except for that one cup). In other versions, when
Ben Hur
Play with any type of alchoholic beverage. The rules are fairly simple, but remember Ben-Hur is an epic so if you want to be standing by
the end I'd avoid shots!!
Drink one if:
- A Roman soldier is seen
- There is a large crowd scene
- There is a scene involving slaves (drink 2 if Ben Hur is involved)
- There is a religious reference (any, drink 2 if the reference is about Jesus)
Drink two if:
- Charleton Heston looks angry
- Ben Hur saves someones life or helps someone
- The scenery is obviously fake
- Any actor gives the 'Oh my God you have leprosy!' (drink 3 if it's Ben Hur) face
Drink three when:
- You see Jesus
- A charioteer crashes and burns!!
- Ben Hur has an argument with a Roman
- Ben Hur kisses a girl
Drink everything in sight when:
- Bens mother and sister are cured of leprosy!!!
the number of empty cups equals the number of cups in the back row, all of the empty cups are cleared and a new, smaller pyramid is
formed.
When it is down to the last cup, there are a few special rules. If a team sinks the last cup, then the other team has a chance to defend
themselves. The number of people that threw on the "offensive" team relates to the number of catch-up shots the "defensive' team gets.
So, if the one team sinks the last cup on the first try then the other team only gets one shot to catch up. If it is one cup to one cup and
the defensive team sinks the catch up shot, then it is like sudden death.
A diamond is made out of the cups (three more are added to each side) and the game proceeds using the same rules as regular play.
The team that loses has to drink any beer that is remaining in the cups of the winning team. Usually, the winning team stays on and
takes on a challenging team.
Variations:
Satellites - Some versions of the game use satellites, which are two cups, half full, placed on either side of the tip of the pyramid (see
illustration below). These are just like any other cup in play.

Hourglass - This uses all of the same rules as regular Beirut, the only thing that changes is the number of cups. In this version, the two
points of the triangles meet, and the back row is as wide as the table. Use as many beers as you feel comfortable with, but try and make
the cups 1/4 full.
Blacklight - Same as regular beirut, except fluorescent cups are used, white ping-pong balls are a must, and obviously, a blacklight. This
is really fun after a few rounds!
